About Nebula

Nebula began as a handful of home‑grown scripts used to locate devices on a small network. Those utilities proved so useful that they evolved into a full open‑source RMM platform. The goal has remained the same: make enterprise‑grade visibility accessible to everyone.

Our mission is to build a transparent and secure network management toolkit that operators actually enjoy using. The project is powered by a community of tinkerers, MSPs and curious admins who share the belief that infrastructure tools should be open and extensible.

Nebula's architecture reflects that ethos. A hardened Go API exposes a clean contract for integrations, the lightweight collector and React dashboard are easy to deploy, and plugins let teams tailor the platform without touching the core.

Development happens in the open. Features are discussed, reviewed and built collaboratively on GitHub. The current roadmap includes richer performance dashboards, a plugin marketplace and multi‑tenant features for service providers. Long term we envision Nebula as the hub where automated remediation, patching and inventory all converge.
